PEOPLE WITH SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS (%)
On average, 37.4% of the people in the surveyed households have serious chronic health problems or have been suffering from serious acute health problems, including COVID, without guaranteed care in the health system. Of this percentage, 37.7% did not receive medical care in the last 6 months and 29% were also unable to access medicines. The states with the highest prevalence of serious health problems were Amazonas (56.7%), Distrito Capital (49.3%), Carabobo (49.2%) and Bolivar (47.5%).
